About theTeam:

One of the first global acquirers to obtain Visa/MasterCard local acquiring licenses as well as payment gateway functionality in Japan.

The Japan Global ecommerce team is in growth mode and our BD team is rapidly expanding.

Our Business Development Managers develop new partnerships, become trusted advisors and have overall responsibility of driving new opportunities from first contact to signing/onboarding. We work across a number of verticals including Airlines & Travel, Marketplace, Payment Facilitator, Gaming, Retail and Digital.

This gives the team the opportunity to work on a number of well-known enterprise brands across several different business models.

Benefits :

Base salary (depending on the current salary and interview performance) + uncapped commission

Required Experience / Abilities / Skills :

The Senior Business Development Manager (SBDM) is responsible for driving growth through the sale of products and/or services to new clients in their specific market and vertical. The role will include responsibility in developing and managing the end-to-end sales cycle from creation of a prospect pipeline to contract execution and processing of ‘live’ transactions for new merchant accounts.

What you bring (Preferred):
- Existing eCom customers network in Japan/APAC ecom space
- Project leading / management skills across multiple internal / external stakeholders
- Experience of working in a global environment on cross-boarder complex business model
- Proficient with other business related database programs, i.e. Salesforce
