Responsibilities :

■The Role
1. The primary role is to originate, structure, and execute asset-intensive reinsurance arrangements and others for Japanese clients ? working closely with the APAC Life & Health team in Singapore and Global Life Practice Group by
? Interacting regularly with clients in order to successfully originate and/or execute each transaction. The candidate must be a self-starter, and technically capable of doing the work required to originate and execute such transaction.
? Also working closely with the reinsurers to build and maintain working relationship regularly, and navigate through the tender etc process, negotiate the reinsurance terms and conditions during working on a deal. The candidate must be fluent in English.

Although this position is for asset-intensive reinsurance specialist, however, the underlying goals are
? To grow our portfolio of life & health broked reinsurance business in Japan.
? To ensure the bringing of international innovations into Japan for the benefit of clients.

2. The secondary role is to provide administration work for existing reinsurance contracts.

Required Experience / Abilities / Skills :

Must
?At least 5 years in Life actuarial role, product development, business development or asset management role
?Strong analytical skills: comfortable doing technical work, data analysis and modelling
?Good communication skill

Want
?Qualified actuary or senior actuarial student, experienced with life & health business
