[Job Description]

- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial results in full compliance with US GAAP
- Deliver accurate and timely financial reporting, including daily, weekly, and monthly sales and cash reports
- Manage accounting for accounts receivable, accounts payable, expenses, and other business transactions, including coordination with outsourced agents
- Handle intercompany transactions and ensure proper documentation
- Collaborate with senior accounting staff and local advisors to prepare statutory financial reports and ensure compliance with local tax and legal regulations
- Support and maintain SOX-compliant accounting processes and controls
- Manage business audits and provide guidance on tax-related operations

[Qualifications]

- Over 10 years of experience in accounting, with mandatory experience in accounts receivable and accounts payable
- Knowledge of both US GAAP and Japan GAAP
- Proficiency in ERP accounting systems such as Oracle or SAP
- Strong Excel skills and familiarity with corporate and consumption tax
- Ability to work independently under tight deadlines and drive continuous improvement
- Native-level Japanese language skills and intermediate-level English reading and writing skills

Required Experience / Abilities / Skills :

The essential requirements of the job include:
?Experience of AR and AP (mandatory) and Knowledge of US and Japan GAAP, and 10+ years> experience
?Knowledge and experience with the ERP accounting system (Oracle/SAP) and PC skills especially for Excel and Knowledge and experience of corporate and consumption tax is a plus.
?Ability to Drive for Results and work independently under tight timelines and Ability to challenge the status quo, demonstrate continuous improvement.
?Native Japanese speaker (mandatory) and Reading and writing skills in intermediate level English
