[Job Description]
- Lead financial planning, performance analysis, and budgeting process management across functions.
- Monitor and update quarterly P&L forecasts, presenting budget and projections to regional and local management.
- Manage income statements and selected balance sheet accounts for the assigned business unit.
- Prepare monthly financial reports for business unit and Japan management teams.
- Deliver value-added financial analysis and insights to business unit leaders, fostering strong partnerships.
- Support the deployment of global and regional finance processes and practices.
- Report directly to the Associate Director of FP&A.
[Qualifications]
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent qualifications are a plus.
- Over 8 years of professional experience, including 5+ years in financial planning and analysis.
- Experience in the healthcare industry and manufacturing is advantageous.
- CPA or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills and business acumen.
- Business-level English proficiency.
- Effective communicator with strong presentation and storytelling abilities.
- Proven team-building and people management skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and perform under pressure.
- Solid understanding of finance and accounting principles, with a strong compliance mindset.
- Experience in cross-functional projects with notable achievements.
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and SAP or equivalent systems.

- Ability to design clinical research studies and basic knowledge of biostatistics.
- Familiarity with regulatory, reimbursement, and commercial issues in the clinical diagnostics industry.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- MD or PhD in a biomedical discipline.
- 3+ years of experience in clinical medicine, lab medicine, clinical pathology, or diagnostics.
- Background in Infectious Disease, Microbiology (culture-based and molecular), and/or Laboratory Medicine preferred.
- Advantageous to have Medical Affairs experience, including medical strategy development and team management.
