Responsibilities :
- Strengthen Japan’s payroll capability to better support both domestic and regional clients.
- Provide clear leadership and direction to the team, ensuring high performance and consistent achievement of targets.
- Oversee monthly payroll operations to ensure all outputs are accurate and delivered on schedule.
- Serve as the main escalation point for client issues, ensuring prompt and effective resolution.
- Ensure full compliance with local statutory requirements and advise management on necessary actions.
- Collaborate with global teams to drive strategic initiatives and effectively support broader business needs.

Required Experience / Abilities / Skills :
- 5 years of hands-on experience in payroll operations
- Strong communication skills with a sales-focused approach
- Proficiency in both Japanese and English
- Proven ability to operate in fast-paced, dynamic startup environments, adapting quickly and building processes from the ground up
