Responsibilities :

Lead digitalization initiatives for finance and accounting processes to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
Maintain and control all financial activities, including accounting, internal and external audits, financial reporting, analysis, and preparation of tax filings in accordance with local regulations.
Review accounting entries to ensure adherence to relevant accounting policies and guidelines.
Ensure adequate and effective controls within accounts payable and accounts receivable processes and systems.
Support business decision making by providing timely and accurate financial information, analysis, variance interpretation, and key metric reporting.
Coordinate monthly accounts preparation, evaluate financial performance against plans, and propose corrective actions when needed.
Ensure compliance with corporate governance requirements and maintain strong alignment with company policies.
Drive process improvements and support cross- functional initiatives and special reviews.

Required Experience / Abilities / Skills :

Strong interpersonal skills, high compliance awareness, and ability to collaborate as part of local management.
Solid accounting expertise, including Japan GAAP, IFRS, and corporate tax filing experience.
Strong decision- making ability with accountability for execution and outcomes.
Practical understanding of modern auditing, accounting practices, and financial risk/internal control management.
Strategic and creative thinker who contributes to organizational value creation and process optimization.
Strong task- prioritization skills to meet deadlines while maintaining ownership of responsibilities.
Ability to influence and coordinate project progress remotely and effectively.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with motivation for continuous professional development.
