KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
?Take full accountability on Japan Health team’s business growth, project deliveries, P&L management and talent development.

?Lead Japan Health Strategy phase II development and implementation.

?Serve as the key point of contact with members of our global network to drive our firm’s health portfolio and drive the expansion of global clients into the Japan market.

?Forge strong and productive client relationships.

?Further strengthen and grow a strong Japan health team with continuous efforts on talent development and attraction.

?Manage workloads effectively across multiple projects and ensure all work is completed on time, on budget and with the highest quality.

?Provide strategic counsel and insight to shape clients’ communications program.

?Play a lead role in new business development related to the health sector, including networking and prospecting, playing an “owner” role on key new business proposals and providing counsel and oversight to ensure organic growth on current projects.

?Acting as a healthcare thought leader and position Edelman as the leading partner in the industry through networking, speaking engagements and marketing events.



KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCES
?Good healthcare industry knowledge and experience in building influential networks.

?Sensitive to the communication restrictions and compliance requirements in healthcare industry, especially in pharmaceutical companies.

?Proven track-records to lead a medium to big team successfully.

?Familiar with MNC clients and can adapt matrices organization with high levels of communication - both presentation, verbal, and written skills in both Japanese and English

?Commercially aware and business savvy, including experience formulating and managing budgets.

?Impressive emotional intelligence and interpersonal expertise

?Strong marketing mastery and executive presence with a wide range of stakeholders, including senior executives.

?Outstanding organization with an ability to manage multiple projects and portfolios.

Global Team, Senior Manager/Manager, Biotechnology Division

What You'll Do
As a Manager/Senior Manager ? you will deliver against the client and commercial priorities for the Health Care Practice in Japan, mainly on the Biopharma Commercial business. You will grow and deploy a team of Japan Health Care experts to support case work, content development and business build initiatives. You will drive the IP/content agenda, with support from the team, and lead execution of the projects. You will be responsible for team’s performance across all KPIs (case billability, quality, content creation, etc.).

Additionally, as a Manager/Senior Manager ? you will engage with case teams & clients based on your individual expertise and demonstrate differentiated impact and value-add to our clients and case teams.

Our Health Care Practice Area helps companies grasp the strategic implications of changes in the market environment and exploit them to build competitive advantage. We support institutions across the entire spectrum of the health care industry, including biopharmaceutical companies, medical technologies, payers, providers and health care systems.
